this wasn't recorded on a very good deck (a pretty lousy one, actually) but it is a clean FM master recording. just not the usual high fidelity of an FM broadcast. made on one of the worst decks I've ever had to use, but this is the whole broadcast from the original cassette I recorded over 40 years ago. just one tape flip break cut missing the 1st few seconds of a song. like most of my favorite rockers, the earlier tours seem to be the best, and for Pat, it was from 79-83 or so. this was not seeded that long ago (2020), but it fell off the tracker quickly like frozen leaves from a tree. there's probably a better version of this, but it will do, and it was a good show. only a few 1983 and earlier Pat shows posted on here currently, that's too few. hard drive cleaning season is here in earnest, and no room for more new shows until these old ones are all moved out. it's called a supply chain clogovirus. (or corona companion) lots of things are good for dealing with that, and listening to this band is one of them. I think this was her third album tour here. one of her best ever, imho. not much question about the category here, it's not pop. it's early era Pat Benatar. audio clog remover. and good (now classic) rock.
