I always liked this group a lot as they took traditional tunes and played them in a heavier and more aggressive fashion. Actually, I caught this same band the year before in Tokyo while there teaching English. Seems like a long time ago .....

This is probably one of the best SBDS of this band. Levels are hot here but it still sounds great.

Also, this show is known to have "skipping" on CTA- sounds like diginoise? I took the liberty of editing out/splicing that approx one minute section. It's mostly skipping "back" rather than jumping ahead so much less is actually lost. It's not a seamless splice but I doubt you will notice it?

Awesome performance from the Miles Davis Sextet, featuring John McLaughlin on this special occasion. His playing really seems to set the band on fire, and his riffing on especially "It's About That Time" is worth the download alone. Sound quality is very good for an audience recording. Ripped from bootleg CD, from the Legendary Collection Series. Although some of the tracks are incomplete, I have yet to find a complete version of this concert.
