"Europe 1993" is a bootleg release by Red Line - Rarities & Few in 1993 with catalogue number RFCD 1295. It looks that the same show was released by KTS under the title "Save Me". The origin of this recording is not known to me but it looks like it is pre-FM, FM or Soundboard because the sound quality is very very good. The original cover for this presents a different line up but the one posted here is the real one for this show. It was taken from the gigography section on THE THE website http://www.thethe.com Also this recording is an update of the one posted here and recorded from the BBC 6 Music because it includes one more song than that broadcast.

I got this in a CDR trade from someone in Poland without a date, only Summer Jazz Days 1992. I collected some info on this from the Dime archives, which I copied below, but those were all shorter versions.

I never knew what the lineage was so anything beyond "CDR > copy to HD > Sox > FLAC" is impossible for me to tell. There is some broadcast static here and there so this is definitely from a broadcast.

Then there was some unclarity regarding the date. 31 August 1992 (according to jackbruce.com) or 28 June 1992 (according to http://adamiakjazz.pl/history1/1992/). Most circulating live recordings use 1992-08-31 and that might be the source for jackbruce.com entry. Maybe that was the date of the broadcast? Maybe Jack Bruce played another gig at the same venue on 31 August? Anyway, this is from the Warsaw Summer Jazz Days 1992, 28 June 1992, and longer than was seeded before.

The message to jackbruce.com bounced. But this is the reply I got from the Warsaw Summer Jazz Days organisation:
"The concert Jack Bruce took place as part of the Warsaw Summer Jazz Days festival and was one of three concerts on the last day of it's first edition in 1992. Only our archives are reliable, because we organized this concert. He performed on June 28, 1992. In August we were on vacation! Greetings, Warsaw Summer Jazz Days Team"

It's Up To You (Beard) is mentioned by John, but appears not to have been broadcast. 07. I Just Want To Make Love To You (W/Jimmy Page & Robert Plant)*

I received this rather special show in a DAT trade in the very late 90's or very early 2000's from Glen Ely (IIRC), my first digital trade partner. For those who don't know – or don't remember for that matter, haha! – DAT cassettes were the first lossless trading medium, and for a spell were the quality standard for serious traders before the ultimate takeover by burnable CD-Rs.

Our taper either only had one C 90 cassette tape with him, or – more likely – Pagey's and Plant's appearance after the actual show for a joint encore with Bad Co was such an unexpected surprise that didn't give him the time to dig up the second tape. At any rate, he simply flipped the cassette back to side A to capture this historic moment for posterity – despite taping over the first two numbers in the process (LIVE FOR THE MUSIC and GOOD LOVIN‘ GONE BAD). A real pity the two numbers are lost of course but at the same time that was clearly a case that necessitated a quick decision in favour of a lesser evil, I'say - and at least most Zeppanatix might agree. You can certainly hear well how the audience seem to go blotto in delight as the two Zeppos show up. :-)
