Officially, this is a soundboard, but there was a PRE-FM Westwood One recording of this show circulating and I'm 90% sure this is the source used. So lineage is something like Westwood One CD > Flac > Audition > Flac. This was an almost perfect recording. Bass was a little high, and guitars were buried way down in the mix. I have used EQ to combat the former, and a combination of EQ and compressor to rectify the latter. I've also applied some gentle widening, to give more of a genuine live feel to things. The show itself is fab. In absence of an official album from their legendary Final Countdown tour, this is as near as we'll get. It's a crackin' set full of energy, guitars, gloriously 80's synths, and... random barber-shop renditions of 'Dreamer.' Oh yeah, can't forget the random lady on the telephone before 'Rock The Night' telling the boys to quiet down - you'll understand when you listen to it.  A Demoominizer Remaster"

Fifth band of the day, just before the headliners, Scorpions. I had a blast during this Europe's show (my fourth). The band sounded so amazing, setlist was great, good new songs and really great classics (so happy to heard Ready or Not). Sound is great for this show, except a crazy boy who whistled a bit too much, i didn't succeed to remove all.
