There are minor channel fluctuations in a few spots but this mostly sounds spectacular with a very 60's sounding mix (vocals in one channel and guitars in the other). To be able to hear Paul Butterfield with Fleetwood Mac is a highlight but Peter Green sounds really great too!

I have heard that this was posted back in the STG era, but this version has been remastered with the sets separated better between discs and some minor "nip and tuck" type edits. No EQ or noise reduction was used in the remastering process.

From Peter Green's stage comments, this is from one week into Fleetwood Mac's first U.S. tour and he sounds like he's having a really good time on the last night of a 3 show run with Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane. This is presumed to be the last night because Peter Green makes a comment about how they'll be back in 2 weeks (not the following night). I think that they returned to the Carousel on the 22nd or 23rd of June.

Plus an Interview with Will and Les on French Tv (late 80s) (introduced by Bernard Lenoir?)

On original DVD, some chapter points started at end of song, before MAC says thank you etc. Whilst re-creating this DVD in DVDauthor, I moved some of the chapter points to just before start of song or just before introduction to song.
Original DVD had a simple menu and you could choose either the gig or the interview. It had no track menu. I've changed that. This version here will play straight away, starting with the gig when DVD inserted, but if you use remote control, you can bring up gig/interview menu and then if gig selected, you get a track menu too.

Also note, some of the songs jump abruptly into next song e.g. Heads Will Roll/Zimbo but that seems to be the way the TV station originally broadcast it. Nothing I can do to fix that.

'A Crystal day' project
If memory serves me, in order to get to this gig, you had to do certin things in Liverpool in order to get a ticket. One thing was eat at Brians Cafe and another was to take a ferry across the Mersey. You get receipts or a ticket stamped and then later were told where the gig was taking place. An double e.p. was released later and included a couple of Beatles covers.

WAV > FLAC + corrected info. + checksums by amellowsoul (Tom Shyman) in late Oct. 2013.

Well, I had to do it. I took me quite a while to find a lossless source to this show. All version I ever saw online were lossy MP3. Lucky for me, someone heard my call, and gave me the old SHN files of which the MP3 versions come from. I checked, when I decoded to WAV to make sure, via T.L.H., to make sure they were indeed lossless. Sure enough, woohoo! I turned those WAV into FLAC, as SHN is pretty much dead in the water, while FLAC is fast becoming the main standard of lossless compression. I thought I was done, but then I saw several typos, and errors, in the setlist. These are corrected by internet research, and asking a few big fans of this band. Lastly, a .ffp and .md5 were added to keep everything in order for the future passing of this material. The Winona, MN material, that was with this show, when in the SHN, will be shared by itself. My many thanks to G.C. for helping me obtain this. If you have this show with a known lineage, before the bootleg issue, feel free to let me know, or share with the world!

The first of two great homecoming shows at Croke Park in Dublin from the complete Sony D6 source.

There are three separate recording sources for this date that I am aware of, one has been released (partially) as "Rock's Hottest Ticket Volume 1". A second source was released as "Joshua Tree Dublin" (we'll be revisiting that source with a future release).

The second half of this third Sony D6 source, beginning with "Help" has been available from a second generation tape but the first half was lost, this is that same source complete and is excellent. The original transfer ran extremely slow and has been pitch adjusted, aligned and fully mastered which came out very nice indeed. In addition, I've seamlessly extracted dozens of up-close whistles, yells and random annoying audience noises.

There is also an LP release for this show with the title "Autumn Fire - The Homecoming" but, I don't have that source so I'm not sure which recording it uses.

This is a tremendous hometown performance in excellent quality that I have painstakingly worked to make the very best version of this complete show available
