NOTES: 
Here is a monitor mix (mono) from the Vapor Trails tour. Monitor mixes are sent wirelessly to each band member, who listen through an earpiece. It's not clear to me if the source is directly from the soundboard or if it was intercepted by a scanner, but my best guess is the latter. While the sound is mono (indicative of scanners), the sound is consistently clear and fuller than I'd expect from a scanner source. Regardless, this is an absolutely superb recording of Rush on their Vapor Trails tour. The original source has been remastered and the new sound is very clear with nice depth and punch. While the low end isn't nearly as bottomless as "Rio" you can hear every detail here (including Geddy's impromtu cough in the first verse of "Limelight"). One of the nice things about this show is the band were playing their "B" setlist, which included "Between Sun And Moon", "Vital Signs", "Ceiling Unlimited" and the Monty Python break at end of "Big Money" (instead of The Simpsons). If you're looking for a great sounding show from this tour, definitely check this out! - Ant

A rough night... a group of loud talkers arrived late during Grand Designs... you can hear one of them say loudly to me "Good night!!" when I left in disgust during The Analog Kid. I moved up higher which had the added benefit of a better filming angle. Don't get too excited at the prospect of the video though... there are some issues with it.

P.E. Productions 4th release. Another good one from the S&A tour. This recording is rare so it was handed out on a limited basis. It went through several mixes before this version was done which basically took a few years. It sat for a while untouched until time was finally made to get this off the "to do" list. Overall the recording was perfect, only one notable glitch in the master source which is during the 38 minute mark of the second disc. You'll hear two little spots of noise while Geddy is talking. The split between disc two and three are seemless, no fades were added this time so the whole second set flows completely through and full tags were added to the FLAC files. Artwork is provided as well. Enjoy the show.

I received this in a snail-mail trade on DVDs in data format from Eric1975. He said that he got this from the filmer himself. The directory structure on the DVDs sent to me were the playable "VIDEO_TS" folder as well as the usual empty "AUDIO_TS" folder. That is all that I know about the lineage. I don't know what equipment was used or what software was used in the transfer process. All I know is that this is Pro-shot and is from the 8mm Master media. Enjoy! 

If anyone feels inclined to re-author this and sync the video to the audio, please feel free to do so. But if you feel so inclined to take on that project, please let me know how you do it so that I can learn and later do it myself. Yes, the audio is out of sync with the video on this, but otherwise, it is an excellent quality recording both visually and aurally.

What a great show from the R30 tour. This was our second show of the tour as we all made the trip up to Nashville to see the opening night a couple months earlier I think we all enjoyed this one a little better as they just sounded great. Many thanks goes out to Steve for doing the matrix for this audio. It's a lot of work to put together something like this. Most of all spending a lot of time before the show finding a good channel to get the IEM. Getting there early to try and not only catch the soundcheck but just to find a good channel for the scanner recording, in this case he was able to get Geddy's. As for my audio it was a really good one so this recording came out really nice. 

This release is in conjunction with cbg5150's video that was just posted as well. Extra special thanks to him for the video, it's great to watch a show we went to over 10 years ago and relive that great night. I think we all owe him a big pat on the back for not only releasing all his great videos but just for doing all those great shows in the past, i don't think a lot of people realize how much effort goes into video taping a rock concert, especially back in the days he started doing them so i'd like to give an extra special thanks to him. We have gone to many great shows together since we both moved and now live just a couple hours away from each other. There will be many more releases in the future with the cbg5150/MrBakeman combo.
