This concert was the penultimate show in Dylan's attempt to recapture the success of the earlier Rolling Thunder Review (which I saw and remains one of the best shows I have ever seen). Unlike the earlier tour, this one was not well-received, and (amazingly) some shows were even cancelled due to poor ticket sales. From our vantage point, however, these remain marvelous performances that demonstrate (like anybody needed any proof) how Dylan is constantly rethinking his songs. The hard-driving, edgy version of "Hard Rain" he delivered in the earlier tour now becomes a slower, more contemplative song, and he turns the acoustic "Shelter From the Storm" into a funky, bluesy stomp in which he plays slide guitar. 
Four songs were officially released (indicated below), and obviously, they are not included.

Review: 
This is a great representation of the '76 material.  The mono soundboard recording is not up to today's standards (there is quite a bit of tape hiss), but it is right up there among the best tapes of the tour. The sonic problems disappear, however, once you concentrate on the songs (such as the way Bob draws out the words on Maggie's Farm or the happy feeling bounce of the reworked Shelter From The Storm. The performance is as good as you will find from this tour. The set includes 14 of the 16 Dylan performances. While giving a larger overview of the entire revue, the set leaves off Isis and You're A Big Girl Now. The package, typical of this label, is very sparse and unworthy of such a historical recording.

Moore than a year ago, Rob used his shake and bake oven on Jimmy Warburton's 3.75 ips copy of his long gone master if this show. Turns out, Jimmy's back-up had been made out of order for reasons too long to go into, and it's release was met with "excessive" conversation.

Lat month, Rob found Jerry's copy of Jimmy's original, and it was a nice fat 7.5 ips in the correct order!! As noted below, 3 songs were missing from Jerry copy, so they have been patched in from the original Warburton copy. And now for the show!
