This show was at a small club on Long Island broadcast live over the air on WLIR-FM. Eric Bloom had just started doing a weekly guest DJ spot on WLIR every Wednesday night with Ben Manilla. EB's guest spot later became known as the Bozo Patrol. Lots of tracks were played from Fire Of Unknown Origin, as the band was gearing up for a full tour with a few Soft White Underbelly warm up shows.

There will likely be some doubt about the show date, but I'm fairly certain that the dates were rearranged due to the illness that was going on with Buck and Eric. I remember calling a friend the next day, saying that the shows in Columbus and Dayton might be cancelled due to their poor health. They weren't, but perhaps should have been. Some bands brag about how few shows they've had to cancel, but perhaps it's not always something to be proud of. As in this case.
