This compilation of Bridges To Babylon sessions was shared by Dorn on iorr."Blessed Poison" was a working title for the album. I have decided to fix the sound a bit. I mostly worked on different source files than the Dorn`s compilation. I have used files i have remasterd before, from Chronological Fully Finished Studio Outtakes. But i worked more on those files, mostly with iZotope

Yes - 1977-08-02 - Philadelphia, PA (AUD/FLAC)

(Audience FLAC)

Spectrum Arena (19,000 capacity)

Audience recording, fair quality. 16 bit 44.1 kHz FLAC.

Transferred by TheTooleMan, June 2013. Pitch corrected by TheTooleMan, , but no EQ or other editing was done after the transfer from the TDK normal bias cassettes. Thanks to Dale for providing the tapes!

This is a first-generation audience recording. This recording is not documented in Forgotten-Yesterdays.com as of this writing, and has apparently never circulated before. No other recording of this show is known to exist.

There are patches at the end of Wondrous Stories and Awaken, probably filling in for a tape flip. The source of the patches is unknown. Fades were added on a few tracks, and there are a few instances where the recording was paused briefly during the taping of the show.

The show gets off to a rough start with Wakeman's organ inaudible at the beginning of Parallels.

Enjoy this rarity. It's not for everyone, but hard-core Yes fans, especially ones in Philadelphia, will dig it.

*Roundabout comes before Starship Trooper on the tape, but the order could have been reversed in the actual show. Forgotten-Yesterdays.com shows the track order reversed (08/02/1977 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). The recording of Roundabout suffers from bad tracking during the dub from the master tape. Distortion was worse in the right channel, so I copied the left channel over the right.

JEMS REMASTER NOTES:
As a Roxy fan of both their early and later days, Wilky_Way's post a few months ago of this heretofore uncirculated soundboard from the last night of the Flesh & Blood tour was a real treat. The recording sounded very good as is, but there was something about the sound that led me to wonder if azimuth-adujusted playback on my Nak might yield more from the original cassette. I wrote Wilky_Way who was kind enough to send me his source tape (a TDK AD-90). I did a fresh transfer last month and there's a marked improvement in the high-end, imaging and overall punch. I did a tiny bit of work with the finalizer to raise levels and apply just a touch of mastering. A-B comparison MP3s are included.

ORIGINAL NOTES:
Splitting the set after Dance Away gives a good balance of songs on each disc, but it's up to you if you prefer to fill up one disc and put the remaining tracks on disc two.

this recording was posted several years ago with a little more lineage. this one comes from the master and 1st gen. tapes that remain from this show someone thought there is a broadcast of this show circulating. I don't know of any, if there is, would love to hear it (maybe that's Montreal 1982 show? that one apparently exists) I've never heard one, but I recorded this at the show from the audience. it was a good night, band was kickin' it. they're still touring and sounding good, so go see them when they play near you. Santana is worldwide, and meant to be heard live.

As was the case during the summer months when Garrison Keeler took time off, the Prairie Summer Concert Series would have a guest host which generally meant a full performance. On this week in 1986 Emmylou Harris was the guest host and played a full 90 minute performance. This is from a 1st generation copy I traded for in the 1980's and is excellent+ quality, to my knowledge nothing from this show has been released.

Dedicated to Glenn Frey, who passed away today (Jan. 18, 2016) at the age of 67. Per TMZ, "We're told the cause of death was a combination of complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis, and pneumonia. Frey had been battling intestinal issues for months and had surgery in November. We're told in the last few days his condition took a turn for the worse. He died in New York City."

Here's a nice-sounding show that was shared on The Traders Den by Daren Johnson a number of years back. I created this new text file because Daren's old torrent also included Christopher Cross, who I wasn't interested in hearing (so I didn't grab). I also re-numbered the FLAC files to account for the Christopher Cross-related files I chose not to download.

01. Roundabout
02. Starship Trooper

This show was still early in the tour (the fourth show), and finds the band experimenting with setlist and sound effects. This may be the only show with the Firebird Suite, which drops right into the opening jam of Close To the Edge.

They were also experimenting with quadrophonic sound, with stacks of speakers on the lawn handling those effects like at old-style "azimuth coordinator" Floyd shows.

We moved to the lawn for the second set to better capture the quad effects, and found a nice spot near one of the speaker stacks. During Themes especially you can hear the sound moving in and out of the lawn speakers.

Dick dale in great form!

Updated Notes: This originally circulated as "Dick Dale - Melbourne sept 1995" with an info file that called it "Melbourne September 1993", and it turns out to be neither. After some listening and some searching on the internet, I've corrected the date and location of this show, added this info file and a ffp, changed the folder name and pretty much left the rest alone. Original info file and md5 included.

Uploader notes:
Hi all - given a shortage of Nick’s tapes from the 90ies on dime, we decided to seed a few that aren’t here and haven’t been at least in the past 2-3 years, that sound nice, and for which we have some decent source/lineage info. In the past few days, I have been posting a show per tour :)

Time to wrap it up with 1997-1998 and in light of my mostly sourceless tapes from a rather small tour of 1997, I am jumping straight into 1998!
It’s a good one though!! This is a SBD recording from one and only show in Japan - 1998-08-02 Fuji Rock - first released by no less that one of dime’s respected Mods (!) jupiter2101 years ago :) Now, what I have here is actually a flac’ed version of that original shn release - and these flacs were posted by (as I discovered!) dime user zipty6. Zipty6 - if you see this post, I hope you don’t mind: it’s an awesome show, and I’m not sure if (or when) it was on dime before! I sent you a PM…. Below is information as it was in Zipty6’s info file and the original Jupiter’s info file and artwork are left in the folder untouched.

I converted from shn to wav using mkwACT 0.97 beta 1. FLAC frontend v 1.7.0.1 was then used at level 8 with sector boundaries aligned.
