From different source:
11 Meeting of the Spirits (incomplete) 12:41
(I don't remember the source & venue for this one, I think I have recorded it from an FM radio).

Notes:
This show came originally labeled as: Montreux Jazz Festival 20-Aug-72
I and others are sure this is not Montreux but in fact "Montreal Canada July 13, 1973" the opening date of the 'Between Nothingness & Eternity tour' where they recorded the live LP in New York a month later.

This used to be traded amongst collectors as "unknown USA 8/1973".

The song list is nothing like they played or even the way they played some of the songs in August 1972.

A French Canadian saying a show is "Montreal" to a non-French speaking person can easily be misunderstood to have said "Montreux" which is how I think the mistake happened.

Also circulates as Johnson Gym, Albuquerque, NM, 1-Aug-73.

Heads up before you burn this:
Track 9 repeats the first ~ 33 seconds. It starts, plays for 32.8 seconds, then there's a glitch. After the glitch it starts back at the exact same spot as the beginning of the track. Hence, a 32.882 second overlap. I used CoolEdit to remove the first portion and the glitch. If done right, it will be a sonically seamless transition from track 8 to where you pick up track 9. --> Corrected in this version!

Notes:
Set list corrections welcome! Some confusion as to the venue on this date. Some collectors have Frankfurt. The date and venue was labeled by the taper TA. Confirmed on other lists as correct. No doubt Hamburg as mentioned by DJ. John mentions track one as The Juice Is Loose, but on Evans release it is called Let The Juice Loose. It's Up To You (Beard) is mentioned by John, but appears not to have been broadcast. If someone has another version of this show, please let me know and/or torrent so we can possibly repair tape flip.

The Mahavishnu Orchestra at Syracuse University with Ravi Shankar as support.
An outdoor concert at a spot nick named The Skytop Lounge filmed by the University to be shown in house. Probably filmed as a training exercise with their new production equipment used for filming and showing lectures on their video system.
Rick Aubry in the voiceover mentions this is part 1 but no one knows if part 2 survives. Only this video was found in a different university (Vermont?) on an ancient video format during a library store clean up sometime in 1994. The finder realised its importance and somehow got it transfered to VHS.

So the story goes: I answered an ad on Craigslist for 500 free Grateful Dead tapes. On picking them up from the taper, I'm also informed he and a friend recorded other bands through the 70's.
These were never circulated, and deemed inferior in quality. When I inquired about digitizing his masters, he laughingly obliged, and so far I have 4 shows completed. Some of the old Ampex and BASF tapes are in poor shape, one completely off the spool, and several squealing badly. I will be presenting the ones of superior quality only, out of the initial batch he loaned me. I do believe these shows will be lovingly embraced by the Dime community, and will be shared here exclusively.

05 - Sanctuary
06 - You Know You Know
07 - My Foolish Heart
08 - Inner Worlds
09 - One Word
10 - Drum solo / Be Happy
11 - Star Spangled Banner

Final concert of The Mahavishnu Orchestra at the Toledo University this cassette tape of the concert is of a better quality than any others seeded so far on either STG, EZTorrent, Dime or TTD. There no noise reduction added and has very few audio dropouts it should be considered an upgrade.

in 1975 while introducing the band they played a piece referred to as "Band intro Jam" at this concert before it they played a 12 bar blues and finish the piece and then go into the familiar riff of the "Band intro Jam" as they are so different I made it a seperate track. 05 - Sanctuary (is one song the tape flip join is at 5'01 there is a
one second gap to seperate them)

to fill in during some technical difficulty John McLaughlin plays "My Foolish Heart" someone in the audience doesn't like it and calls out something and John berates the person at the end of the song

The Moog guitar syntheiser was trouble free and they play "Inner Worlds"

After "One Word" Narada plays a solo then they play a short version of "Be Happy" and at the end of this as it was the last concert they play "Star Spangled Banner" the tape cuts just as they are ending.

Trivia . the support act was . The Jan Hammer Group

a front and back CD cover is included print and then cut off the outer black border line the back cover is rotated to avoid printers that by default print to fit page width.

This Mahavishnu Orchestra "Inner Worlds" 1975 line up is referred to amongst collectors simply as MO-3

Lineage:
KPFA reels (from the soundboard)->unknown transfer and mastering->CDR->EAC (with proper offsets)->WAV->SHN>FLAC

Quality: Definitely A++

The original remaster has been on the tracker for more than 2 years and 1285 downloads, but since then I've learnt to use other tools and have been able to improve it further. The music sounds louder (despite no level or other sound enhancing changes), there is more bass, Cobham's drums have more punch and there is more depth (emotion?) to the sound of this great music.

V1 Remaster Notes >>>
The original sounds great, but with un-naturally wide stereo image with solo instruments hard left or right and appears to have had some stereo broadening some time in the chain, plus channels were swapped over on some of the tracks.
