This is a GEM! These are selected highlights from 3 days of melodic rock music. It was an exhausting marathon featuring a little of everything. From the glam of Danger Danger, to the Stryper covering Priest and Kiss, to the return of veterans like Jake E. Lee (Red Dragon Cartel) and Vinny Burns (The Three Lions), this is the ultimate GK presentation. Also featured are Eclipse (the Swedish wonder), Pretty Maids (the Danish giants) and probably the two top performers of the festival, American bands Winger and Night Ranger. Brand new (2014) songs from Winger and Three Lions. The footage is excellent, video is unobstracted (filmed from various parts of the venue for variety), sound is very good and some of the performances are breath-taking. Bear in mind that there are two equal volumes coming up making this a trilogy!!! Talking about the festival, it is highly recommended as an excellent experience with some of the finest music you can find out there (Frontiers, the label, has more or less gathered every melodic rock band/artist alive, thus making this yearly festival, THE event of the year for hard rock - melodic rock fans). Don't forget to buy the original music (I did more than my share since there was a CD/DVD sale inside the venue; I even had to pay extra in the airport for excess baggage charge). This DVD is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for ALL hard rock - melodic rock fans. If you were lucky enough to be there, then DOWNLOAD or DIE!

NOTES:
This is the final chapter of the Frontiers Rock Festival 2014 trilogy. The only bands that make their first appearance in Vol.3 are Hardline (the Gioeli led band with Josh Ramos on guitar) and Dalton, the swedish melodic band of the 80s, performing their biggest hit (written by none other than Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and Desmond Child). Coming back for Vol.3 are Night Ranger, Winger, John Waite, Pretty Maids and Stryper. Night Ranger perform two Damn Yankees songs, while John Waite brings back to life some of his classic tunes (one of them originally by the Babys and one by Bad English). If you have Volumes 1 and 2 then you know what to expect.
