Notes:
Great show which was broadcasted in 25 countries and this particular recording is from some Polish radio or something, there are one or two station ads during the show, but only in between songs. It certainly doesn't take away from the show. Bryan and the band are really having a good time on stage this night. Touch The Hand as it is played here is an amazing live track. Shame they don't play it anymore these days. Chatting with the audience is fun, certainly when a guy is invited on stage to sing Summer Of '69. He gets a beer from Bryan afterwards Soundquality is good as it is an FM recording, although Heaven seems to be from another source (but also SBD).

Bryan Adams - 2013-07-10 - Lucca, IT (FM/FLAC)

(FM broadcast FLAC)

Bryan Adams @ Lucca Summer festival 2013

a Live and Direct FM radio broadcast by "Radio2Live", Radio2 RAI [second channel of italian national radio] from Piazza Napoleone, Lucca (Italy), on wednesday 10 July 2013, 21:34 hours [CET] - this is just an excerpt of a longer set, as the act did not permit the complete broadcast

WARNING: in italian radio customes the DJ speaks a lot in-between songs. And I mean a lot.. His/Her purpose is to introduce songs with bits of bio and translate what the artists say, or to describe to radio listeners what's happening on stage. It may gets VERY annoying, and trust me it does, thus we might consider this recording ONLY FOR COMPLETISTS. But the songs, the actual music, are (usually) not spoken over in the middle of them. It has to be noted that italian djs are on the whole adviced to talk that much by the same record companies to prevent bootlegging.

Taper Notes
Went to this one with my wife - we saw Bryan at Gateshead Stadium, England sometime in July 1992 - and I remember enjoying that one. 21 years later (Jesus I'm getting old) I have to admit I enjoyed this one as well.

I know he's a bit "Sloppy lovey dovey" at times - but the Reckless album was a good album and it's all good honest rock and roll - if a little on the glam rock side. Not Led Zeppelin - but still an enjoyable show.

Bryan's voice has not dropped off that much, and he's one of the older guys now that doesn't think he's the big rock star - comes out and entertains and looks like he's enjoying at the same time. He picked a girl out the audience and got her to sing with him and commented that it sometimes is a "Fucking disaster" but it went fairly well - for a pharmacist from Melton she did OK.

I had a couple of nobheads behind me (again - I'm sure they are following me) - one of these dicks was clapping out of time !! How can you do that? I didn't think anyone could have been born with such an affliction. I kept looking over my shoulder with a "What the f**K?" on my face - but he was blindly clapping and smiling like a retard. I don't think it spoiled the recording though. As usual Rod Laver Arena produced a good sound and the PCM and Mikes caught it all well.

Good fun show, although his current run of shows have had something of a short setlist. Some fun covers to end the show, including the AC/DC song. Small and hot Indian tent for the show, but made for a good show.

American Idiot is a fun little bonus track from soundcheck. Bryan and the band were off gambling while the crew set up and played their obligatory amusing cover. Tacked it on the end for a good laugh.
