Notes:
a - Additional "Big Guns" track note: These two versions are very similar & are hard to tell the difference, at times. I'm leaving the edited notes on the tracks, as I received them that way.
b - Oh, did I mention that you do not want to miss downloading this? Actually I prefer a well balanced & recorded audience source. I feel it just gives a better atmosphere to the recording. Some SBD recordings are too raw & not mixed that well. This SBD recording is clean & mixed well. I also prefer Rory's era with the De'Ath & Martin line-up, along with the energy of the band from then, so I'm a bit biased at time .... but to me, Rory is Rory!!

A long, big jump in history, from the previous 1971 show to this one. Yes was totally another band by the time they released 90125 except that between that line-up and this one there's just a different guitarist, would you imagine that? Just to show how polyedric these musicians are: they can switch between Hearts and Starship Trooper with no big deal!

Pristine quality for this one, unfortunately not complete. I have loads of 90125 soundboards but this one sounds very good to my ears and the performance at good level. We are in the middle of the second american tour here and the band has been playing together for some six months. They play an unreleased (?) track called Reason To Be Here which sounds very much inspired by the sound of the 80's!

This is a special new release and it was exciting being able to spin this tape and discover what was on it. because I didn't know.. I've been given a VHS tape that contains some or all of 4 different CSN Soundboards from the 1988 tour. That's right, Four newly digitized soundboards, and what a treat these recordings are going to be. For this Sept 1 recording, we are missing most of the first set. The recording starts with 'To The Last Whale' , ends with 'For What Its Worth'. We get about 85 minutes from the middle of the show, and then it's missing the last 3 songs. Regardless of the missing songs, this is a really great recording and the band is playing really well. Luckily i had a working VCR, running the audio rca cables into my Tascam wave recorder. Thanks goes out to Wes Meyette for supplying the VHS tape (which contained 7 1/2 hours of music) (pic added in the comments). The other 3 CSN SBD's will arrive in the coming days or weeks.

Here's a nice way to close out the Rock Island tour. It's a brilliant FM broadcast (or possible SBD) from London in the Fall of 1990. This show must have made the rounds previously, but I've never seen it upped in the last 10 years or so, so it's high time to be shared (again). I'm also including a short FM broadcast from the next night in Luneburg. Sample of the Wembley show included.

Known Faults: Known

With this release we begin a new master series of recordings of Italian taper Mauro R. and his brother Dario. Mauro has spent the last 35+ years documenting the Italian concert scene, you have probably heard a number of his 1980's recordings and many of you have probably heard of him, but this will mark the first time his recordings have been properly presented from his masters.

Mauro and I go back to the mid 1980's when we both taped and traded hundreds of shows with each other. In the 1990's as life took over and we both became busier and busier we fell out of touch. Though Mauro has continued to tape he began to physically trade less and less, therefore many of his shows over the last decade or so remain uncirculated and he is not currently a member of dime or any torrent site. Through a mutual collector friend (thank you hubresh) we have re-established contact. It's like we never lost touch and he is very excited to share their work with all of us.

When I say they document the shows they go to that's an understatement. He and his brother cover both taping and shooting photos. They shot over 700 photos of this particular show. In the future you will find many of their photos included in the torrents as well as used for the covers (as the covers for this show are using their photos).

We begin our series with a show I don't believe has appeared on dime in any form. Leonard Cohen's only Italian stop on the 2010 leg of his long world tour.
The 2010 leg of the World Tour was an extension of the 2008-2009 World Tour that would eventually total 246 shows. Florence was an open air event in the beautiful Piazza Santa Croce, taking place after a nine day break.

Recorded approximately 20 meters from the stage, this is a gorgeous capture with strong vocals and excellent instrument separation and a wide stereo spectrum.

Notes by the uploader
Here's a surprise for you guys. I know I didn't say anything about the video when I upped the audio last month... I had my reasons. The bad news: No encore and I lost my separate screen shot. The good news: What I came away with is decent. It's pretty much just the guys, no screen unfortunately (they did have some fun projections especially during Dirty Laundry).

*** This show is incomplete: No audio or video of encore! ***

Note: The following video segments are also missing but audio is intact.
1) Almost all of Seven Bridges Road
2) First 1 minute 6 seconds of In The City
3) One minute 25 seconds of banter before The Long Run
4) First 12 seconds of The Long Run
