This is a special new release and it was exciting being able to spin this tape and discover what was on it. because I didn't know.. I've been given a VHS tape that contains some or all of 4 different CSN Soundboards from the 1988 tour. That's right, Four newly digitized soundboards, and what a treat these recordings are going to be. For this Sept 1 recording, we are missing most of the first set. The recording starts with 'To The Last Whale' , ends with 'For What Its Worth'. We get about 85 minutes from the middle of the show, and then it's missing the last 3 songs. Regardless of the missing songs, this is a really great recording and the band is playing really well. Luckily i had a working VCR, running the audio rca cables into my Tascam wave recorder. Thanks goes out to Wes Meyette for supplying the VHS tape (which contained 7 1/2 hours of music) (pic added in the comments). The other 3 CSN SBD's will arrive in the coming days or weeks.
