notes:
the sound is fantastic, maybe the best sounding live Fahey I've ever heard. I didn't change anything from the original files, just a new MD5 cause I added a new folder for the artwork, and a setlist file that was missing in the original post. I highly recommend this one, it is a true gem.

Chet Bell: i recorded the fahey show at the great midwestern music hall on 12/13/77... i was in the house band at the time and had access to the nakamichi that was always hooked to the soundboard... john was pretty much plastered the entire evening and as was his way wandered in & out of songs without any restrictions, combining melodies and abruptly changing direction. mid-song it ws a beautiful performance, and i still have the first generation master cassette, from which i put the first disc transfer into circulation only several months ago

  1. You don't see all that much Fahey showing up on music blogs. Thanks!
