IN FACT, HOWEVER, THE RECORDING ORIGINATES FROM THE SHOW AT MANCHESTER APOLLO, MANCHESTER, UK ON 6TH SEPTEMBER 1989! This is confirmed by Tony Martin's mentioning 'Manchester' after 'Children of the Sea', as well as by comparing this recording to the available audience recordings from both Manchester and London. 

This is probably the best boot from the Martin era. His voice is in great shape, and there's a small but pleasing number of tracks from the highly under-rated 'Headless Cross' album, along with classics from the Dio era and that other guy. It is not, however, the most complete recording there is. We don't get to hear 'The Shining' or a number of others from the night this was recorded. However, soundwise this floors 'Headless In Vienna' and the others. I rank it as one of my favourite Sabbath boots. 

The source was very evident on the original recording - lots of treble, little guitar. This has been fixed. Everything now sounds much more balanced and much more metal.
