As good as RH shows get. Two all request shows. No songs repeated. There were sign up sheets in the lobby for you to write down your requests. I requested one song for the Early show, and three songs for the Late. He played all but one. Spectacular sound. No Guests. All Robyn.
Early show was a more obtuse Robyn show, with many odd stories and the crowd laughing it up (sometimes too much - not everything is funny, folks). Late show was more serious with a great dead quiet crowd. The "encores" were covers. Robyn requests from his record collection. A fantastic evening from one of my favorite guys around. Samples below
The great January McCabe's show is still limping along here. There are only a handful of songs repeated across these two night. Quite a feat.
