You know, around our local circles when it came to collecting boot vinyl that it was often said "what they missed in quality they made up in quantity". That must certainly be true of this piece. Running slow instead of fast, even with significantly upping the speed and reducing the time, you are still left with more than 55 minutes on a single LP.

Make no mistake, this is a boomy recording with a very small amount of distortion at times. The LA Forum was very well known for producing audience tapes just like that. The performance you'll hear more than makes up for it. It is really top drawer Elton, especially on "Daniel" and "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me". This show sounds heartfelt and close to the audience, and both seem to feel it. You might also.
