Priest fans will know that four songs from this show have been widely circulated on the Priest “Visual Metalogy” bootleg (HBFL, TGM, LAM and YGATC). Those songs were taken from an old TV broadcast of this concert as part of the “ABC In Concert” series. This video is not just those four songs, however; it is the full and complete show. Yes, the full and complete show. And it is sourced directly from the in-house feed, not a TV broadcast.
As far as quality, there is no way to know for sure if this is the master tape, but it is definitely not worse than a 1st gen source. The sound and picture quality are excellent. As good as the screens below look, they don’t do it justice: this video needs to be seen and heard to be believed. The LPCM audio is great, and the pro shot nature of the footage is stunning. This truly is an extraordinary show, pristinely preserved. And it has been authored with a menu and chapters to enhance your viewing pleasure.
All credit and thanks to “theesupra” for finding this gem and for giving me the opportunity to digitize and share it with the trading community. It’s not every day you get the chance to post and share an uncirculated pro shot video.
And so, without further ado, it is my great privilege, on behalf of "theesupra," to present JUDAS PRIEST, pro-shot, live in Irvine Meadows, July 12, 1991, in all its full glory!
