30 years exactly today, Marillion and supporter Peter Hammill played Edinburgh Playhouse in the middle of the UK tour supporting their debut album "Script For A Jester´s Tear". Now the band has 15+ studio records and probably a hundred live albums in the catalogue. 

This gig saw the debut of Grendel in the 1983 tour. That track was played for a total of 5 times in 1983, then never again as a band effort. I heard bits and pieces of Grendel during soundchecks but never as full song. one track was officially released so it is omitted from this torrent. Peter Hammill set was very powerful. Reports said that he was often booed by Marillion fans during his set which is a kind of weird considering that Hammill and VDGG ave been the main influences on Fish...
