One of the best audience recordings available from the Computer World tour. This one is likely to come from a very low-gen tape, if not straight from the master tape. It is also one of the very first bootlegs from the Computer World to be pressed on CD (early 1990s) and to feature a complete recording from that tour. This concert was the second of a two-night stand at the Hammersmith Odeon, even though these weren't the only Kraftwerk concerts in London during that tour as they also played at the Hammersmith Palais and Lyceum a few days before. There probably were a much larger audience in London eager to see Kraftwerk, but as back then they weren't likely to play in open air festivals or stadiums, they prefered scheduling more dates in smaller venues.

This Hammersmith Odeon concert was previously issued as a 3-LP set simply called 'Computerwelt' with artwork heavily based on the official studio album. It reportedly features - according to - a slightly better sound quality than the CD release, but as I've never particularly heard this vinyl recording, I cannot say if it was made from a different source.
