At that point of time Mel Galley was no longer performing with WHITESNAKE, as he had injured one arm/hand in March '84. The band continued touring as a 5-piece ensemble: Coverdale - Sykes - Lord - Murray - Powell. On April 16th Jon Lord had his final gig with the band, as he reunited with DEEP PURPLE (Mk 2) and WHITESNAKE continued as a 4-piece band: Coverdale - Sykes - Murray - Powell. Richard Bailey was added as a guest musician to play the keyboards.
