Release notes:
This is my third release of this particular concert, each time using a better source. For those of you who have my last release of this show, Mad For Mexico DE, you may recall that I described the source as being 1st gen, but that the picture quality didn't appear to be what I'd consider 1st gen quality. After releasing that show, and returning the source tape, I later heard back from my source, when he discovered that he'd sent me his backup tape by mistake, thus meaning that the source used was actually 2nd gen rather than 1st gen. He offered to send me the true first gen if I'd be interested in doing yet another version. I happily agreed, as I'd always liked this show and wanted to have it in the best quality I could find. I'm happy to report that the difference in quality between this version and the previous version is noticable. This one looks as a true 1st gen copy should. The sound is marginally better as well, as one would expect. This is great concert. The quality is quite nice. Well worth the download, if you have the dual layer burner required to burn a copy.

Here is a fantastic soundboard recording from the 94 tour. The quality exceeds that of Irvine '94 as that show is lacking in the bottom-end department. This one more than makes up for it! Indeed, we have a great stereo spread and a crystalline, transparent capture -- this may be the best sounding Steely Dan ROIO ever. It is certainly in the upper echelon. Plus, we have a great backing band and an even better setlist. Where did it come from? Well, this, along with some of the other more recent seeds have been circulating overseas. We've managed to obtain some of the silvers as you've seen. They are not cheap. This 2 disc set set me back over $100, personally. So long as the skeevy sellers are selling, we'll be freely sharing until everything is tapped! And as of the date of this writing, the well is far from dry. Enjoy.

New addition 1 year later adding We're Not Gonna Take It from Hellfest 2016 and correcting some other mistakes presented in my previous authoring.

The Fox & Friends webcasts has lots of empty spaces with the band doing nothing on stage throgh several minutes, so i removed all of them. The 2 last tracks are fom the "After The Show Show". The correct date of ths show is September 2nd (by mistake i typed "August" on the menu). The only HDTV tracks are from Hellfest 2016, in wich i removed as much as possible the french hoster introduction.

Ok folks, this is a studio of collection of Jimi's work that you cannot be without!! 5CDs, all sourced from masters, 1st gen or 2nd gen. Most of it is 1st gen.

It truly is an unbelieveable collection of 1969 and 1970 studio sessions and the content, performance and sound will blow you away I know!! There is a lot of talk between Jimi, bandmates and the control room and all you have to do is listen to the Power of Soul Sessions on CD4 and the sound quality when the engineer speaks makes you feel like you are in the booth with him!

The title of the set is very apt as these really are Unsurpassed Masters of the man with the guitar!! trust me, you will enjoy this download no doubt about it. I have more great Hendrix goodies that I will upload over the near future. All sourced from low gen recordings!!

This particular set was put together by a Hendrix preservation group about 5 or 6 years ago.
