Notes by the trader:
Ok... Hi again folks. I had heard of this very early Steve Miller Band B&W video before but had never seen it available in trade circulation at any time. And, I had heard that the actual performance was what had mattered the most about this one really. Well, now I finally got it into my hands and, of course, the performance is totally smoking for sure. But, the video ain't all that bad... considering that this was just an in-house archival video that was shot in the most basic of ways and not even considering the actual release of this to be seen to the gereral public at all. Along with the inadequate lighting in general, and the light oversaturation at some times and the audio line static that occasionally pops up briefly, there are some obvious edits in the video along the way. And the main one of those is, of course, before the band comes back out for the encores. With all of that... I have to say that this is still just incredibly enjoyable to watch. But, Hey... that might just be me, as I have been a big fan of this guy for decades now. Oh yes... before I forget, I have to thank sam1776 for all of his great uploads, and for eventually leading me to obtaining this for myself. Ok... this is what it is... and now you know what it is, so download away if you wish. Remember this was NOT filmed or recorded in any manner that was intended to be an actual commercial release, this was simply a way to have an archival record for BGP to have an artifact for their own recorded archives. But, even with inadequate film lighting, shoestring B&W film stock used and just little more than amatuer production values implemented... these videos are now considered to be time-capsule treasures by many. Plus, of course... they just fucking rock!! I think you will not be disappointed at all if you do choose to download this legendary Steve Miller Band show for your collection. Enjoy...
