A great Rock & Roll evening in cold Munich with Wishbone Ash. I was in town and could not miss the opportunity. The Ampere is a little nice club right in the town center, close to a bigger venue, the Muffathalle where I had seen Steve Wilson band a few years ago. But the Ampere makes the atmosphere so intimate and yet rocky!
I did not expect the band to be in such good shape with Andy Powell still rocking despite not being a teenager anymore! The setlist was somehow changed from last year, including some excerpts from the new album which will be out in a week. especially the title track was VERY impressive! I really recommend you buy "Blue Horizon" when it is out.
Soundwise, perfect. Audience quite gentle. Atmosphere excellent listening to the music and drinking a weissbier.
