The date is wrong, it should be Oct. 15, 1977. This is from the notes included with my (different) copy of the show:
RispondiEliminaAll the shows that referenced the date 12/20/77 are flat out wrong. They never played there again after Oct 15th, 1977 which was their farewell concert at the civic. I have also included the rehearsal tape from the show. Some of you have heard it before, but the dates were also referenced wrong and the quality was no where near this.
Notes:
"Wrongly dated for far too long, it's now time to set the record straight. VH never played another show at the Civic after this date, so throw away all those 12/20/77 average sounding boots, and settle into this experience, complete with rehearsals."
