I worked on this broadcast, as a cameraman, and it came from the Entertainment Centre, in Sydney, not Melbourne, although it was the M.S.O. supporting Elton. Great to see it again, after 30 years. Peter. (Sydney)
RispondiEliminaPeter, thanks for sharing. It sounds like dream to have worked on that broadcast wow !! How did you feel then , and in perspective, 30+ years later, how do feel that you worked on such a legendary broadcast ? Thanks in advance for your reply. What you did, in my mind is like a dream. Thanks. Anthony
EliminaIt was one of the highlights of my ABC-TV career. I didn't get to speak to Elton, but I had a brief conversation with Davey Johnstone. I saw four nights of this concert for free, the last one was the one that was broadcasted.
