Note:
The first track on this recording that has circulated in the non-DIME trading pool featured an interview backed with "Zaar." Though the interview is not commercially available, the recording of "Zaar" is (on the "Passion" soundtrack) and therefore must be removed per Dime rules. I don't think anyone is missing much by not having the 10-minute interview segment included.
Comments:
This is an FM broadcast which generated a bit of debate last time around about whether it came from his performance on 9/29 or 9/30 in Santiago; I think the consensus is 9/29 (this is the date provided in the info file), but am hedging my bets on the header because I have no way of knowing. In any case, it's a fairly good, though heavily processed, FM broadcast of a typical "Us" tour show. Of note here is that Peter brought a Chilean group onstage with him during the encore, during which he performed "Wallflower" (a staple of his 2010 shows, but I don't think it had been played live regularly before then). Overall sound quality is not as dynamic as one would hope given that it's a soundboard recording, but it's quite listenable and I think stands up as one of the better-sounding Gabriel recordings from his 1993-1994 tour.
