CHRIS DUARTE GROUP finally make their return back to Dayton, Ohio. It was back in late 2008 since they'ed been here and the last time i'd seen CDG Live. This almost 3 year wait is the longest i've gone without seeing a Live show of CDG. I wondered how things would be with yet another new Bassist & Drummer? Well if this is the last time i ever see CDG Live, and doubt it will be. (I missed him in 2012 due to the flu last year) I'll have walked away knowing CHRIS DUARTE's still "got it".
Alot of new songs from his last few releases are on display here. They have that same great Duarte "swagger" as his previous material. And the older songs, some of which i thought i was tired of, have completely new and different arrangements. And the fire and passion is still in both Chris's lead work as well as his singing. Give a listen and hear for yourselves....
