Those tracks are taken from a two hours tapes we recorded....we used two little marshall 1 watt amplifiers with gibson and carvin guitars.......sorry folks if you have to support me singing and playing with John, but i decided to share this to demonstrate how John could be amazing with just a guitar in his hands and me backing...this is one of my best memories i have with John, and then, you know, playing with the man is one of the higlights of my unprofessional carrer as a player and singer (another one was when i played with my band at the local atlantic 40 years anniversary). Last thing is the situation in the house that night..... John and myself were playing pretty drunk and smoked, Greg Douglass was watching, Mark Neilsen (Kingfish drummer) was sleeping on the couch, Novato Frank doin'....you can imagine, and a bunch of girls were hangin' around in the house, pretty devasteted......And i almost forgot, in those 2 night i had the chance to play the guitar that Link Wray gave to John as a gift....

Iggy Pop burst out of Detroit in the late '60's as the frontman for The Stooges. The Stooges were raw, immediate and vulgar. Iggy Pop became notorious for self-mutilating himself on stage and whilst smeared in blood, diving into the audience. Though largely ignored at the time by mainstream audiences, Iggy and The Stooges helped define the sound and attitude that would later be known as punk rock.

Following the break-up of The Stooges, Iggy Pop embarked on a solo career dedicated to keeping the dangerous spirit of rock 'n' roll alive. His music and live act has persistently and subliminally infiltrated the mainstream musical core, and has been a powerful inspiration for countless bands. Iggy Pop is now, genuinely being discovered yet again by a whole new generation.

The setlist tonight was almost identical to that performed last night. Indeed, it seemed like they might be exactly the same, but Bono called for one more—I Will Follow. It has only been played once on this current jaunt through the Americas, almost a month ago in New Orleans on 14 September. This now brings I Will Follow's number of performances on the current tour into double digits. Before playing the song, Bono claimed the band were about to play "our first song on Island Records", and if only they had, for that was in fact 11 O'clock Tick Tock. At the start of Bad, Bono sang a line of Van Morrison's Into the Mystic and then quoted famous Argentinian author Jorge Luis Borges. He recited a line from Borges' poem El Amenazado (The Threatened One), first in Spanish and then—"in case I fucked it up"—in English. During With or Without You he brought a fan, Gabriela, on stage.
