This must-listen two-disc live recording features a broadcast recording from a live performance in Kampnagel, Germany, taken from the European tour following the release of "Earth Walk," the band's first album after moving to Somethin' Else. The band added two horns (Greg Osby and Gary Thomas) to the front, and Michael Caine joined the previously piano-less band. The use of synthesizers creates a vast, expansive soundscape that cannot be recreated in a studio. This recording captures the ECM-esque, exotic worldview. Experience the astonishingly high-quality soundscape that will leave you speechless.
