About this show:
Pierre told me that the recording was mono indeed and that this tape was a direct copy of the master tape. He got the tape directly from the local radio engineer. My guess is since it came from a radio engineer it most likely was broadcast live on the local radio, in mono. Possibly a fold down of the main front of house stereo soundboard mix. Pierre also told me that the engineer made a direct copy of the master tape, for whatever reason (archiving?) and that’s the tape that was transferred.

About this edit:
Technical corrections:
Only the technically necessary corrections were made (please see lineage below).
As in old Zappateers tradition, no re-EQ or anything like that was added to the recording.
Audio restoration:
A lot of clicks, glitches, dropouts and some sudden extreme volume fluctuations have been eliminated.
Mono or Stereo?
This is a real mono recording!
To preserve the sound of the original recording as well as possible:
NO fade-in or -out, NO track normalisation, NO soundfilter!
All work on the recording was done in 24/48.
In short: There is no music left out!
