I bought two tickets to see "Slowhand" in 1975, at the Hordern Pavillion. The first one was when he vomited on stage in front of thousands of us. The band kept playing without Eric, and stopped at the end of the song. An eerie silence fell over the place, until someone shouted out "Get On With It". They then launched into Steady Rolling Man, and did a killer version of it. Eventually someone came on stage and announced that Eric wasn't well (really?) and "Can you all please come back two nights later for another concert. Make sure you keep your ticket stubs".
