Source: Incomplete very good 1st audience recording. 215 minutes.
Details: The recording is just a bit distant but this is still a very listenable, clear piece except for loud audience - somebody near the taper uses blow horn.
Recording Includes: The Song Remains The Same [ 5:15 ] >> The Rover Intro [ 0:44 ] >> Sick Again [ 5:22 ], [ cut ], Nobody's Fault But Mine [ 6:27 ], [ cut ], Over The Hills And Far Away [ 5:44 ], [ cut ], Since I've Been Loving You [ 8:14 - cut ], [ cut ], No Quarter [ 18:56 - cut ], [ cut ], Ten Years Gone [ 8:40 - cut ], [ cut ], The Battle Of Evermore [ 4:36 - cut ], Going To California [ 4:42 ], [ cut ], Black Country Woman (<< Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp..) Source: Incomplete very good 2nd audience recording. 126 minutes.
Details: Somewhat very similar in quality to the above tape. However, this one seems to be a bit brighter, decent sound throughout and instruments are better defined. It might be just more dynamic as above recording; so sad it's so incomplete and edited in many places.
Recording Includes: The Song Remains The Same [ 5:18 ] >> The Rover Intro [ 0:44 ] >> Sick Again [ 5:24 ], Nobody's Fault But Mine [ 6:29 ], Over The Hills And Far Away [ 5:47 ], Since I've Been Loving You [ 8:17 ], No Quarter [ 21:38 - cut ], Ten Years Gone [ 8:32 ], The Battle Of Evermore [ 5:18 ], Going To California [ 4:11 - cut ], Black Country Woman (<< Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp [ cut ]..) [ 5:16 - cut ], [ cut ], Kashmir [ 9:01 - cut ], Over The Top (<< Out On The Tiles, Moby Dick [ cut ]..) [ 4:24 - cut ], Heartbreaker [ 6:14 ], Guitar Solo (<< The Star Spangled Banner..) [ 9:15 - cut ] >> Achilles Last Stand [ 9:09 - cut ], [ cut ], Stairway To Heaven [ 11:04 - cut ], Whole Lotta Love [ 1:24 ] >> Rock And Roll [ 3:56 - cut ].
Source: Incomplete good 3rd audience recording. Almost 149 minutes.
Details: A fairly distant and a bit distorted/muffled tape with lots of yelling and enthusiastic comments from the tapers (that are really annoying when commenting every detail of performance and disturbing an intimate atmosphere of many songs). The hiss could be less though and those blow horns can be even heard on this tape - I guess a half of the Garden used them!
Recording Includes: No Quarter [ cut ], Ten Years Gone [ cut ], The Battle Of Evermore [ cut ].
Source: Incomplete 8mm color amateur footage with sound. 3 minutes.
Details: The video shows members from knees to head, filling the height of the screen.

A great 1977 show that has some of the best playing. This is the first night during that tour where they played Over The Hills And Far Away instead of In My Time Of Dying, and also the first where they play Heartbreaker. Ten Years Gone is gorgeous and No Quarter is truly excellent. Kashmir is thundering and the finale has some great playing, with Achilles Last Stand being the high point. An excellent version of Heartbreaker is thrown into the set and is rocking.
