Comments:
This is a solid IEM recording augmented with a good audience, making an overall enjoyable listening experience. It appears to me that the majority of the mix comes from the IEM (surprising, since we were only able to find the feed for the first song in Chicago, but apparently there was a separate feed for the full show) with the audience recording used to fill out the sound. This was a notoriously difficult tour to record, because Bruce was alone onstage with a guitar or keyboard, so even the slightest audience reaction was enough to drown out the performance. By relying primarily on the IEM, this recording is able to overcome the audience and allow one to focus on the music.

In terms of the performance, this show didn't have as crazy a setlist as many of the dates on this tour had, but ther were a few oddities ("Frankie," "Wild Billy's Circus Song," etc.) for the die-hards. If you haven't heard anything from this tour and are interested, I'd suggest you grab this one and if you like it, buy the official release of the Columbus 7/31/05 show.
