this is a degraded soundboard recording, not an audience recording-
Plosin's site also says that an audience tape of this concert was broadcast on KPFA in the spring of 1971
there is some clipping
the instruments are well separated into left or right for the most part
there is no sense of a common mic location - each instrument appears balanced in the recording
unlike the prior night, the hiss is more prominant and the audio signal rolls off around 8 khz
d1t01: fades in. Plosin's site references a Bill Graham intro of ~ 0:04 which is not on this recording
d1t02: 8:36 thru 9:09 many little pops and crackle
d1t03 is a nice version of "What I Say" which highlights the ensemble support of the various lead instruments
d1t05: abruptly cuts off
Opened for Leon Russell.
there is another version of this source and at some point both had a common ancestor. That source had additional padding at the start of track 1 and small gaps betwen tracks indicating a poor extraction, most likely.
