Show Notes:
Cool special show for Def Leppard. Small club show for mostly industry insiders, plus a lucky 10 folks who won in the Sirius XM contest. None of the fans hanging out all day in front of the club were able to go in. Probably pretty similar to their setlist for the upcoming tour, with maybe a few more songs added. Has two songs off the new album which sound good.
Recording Notes:
Flawless recording pull off the wireless monitors. Used a total of 5 feeds for the matrix, although recorded more. Sirius ended up broadcasting the full show on their new Def Leppard radio station, but I wasn't a fan of that mix. Sounded muffled and overly compressed to my ears, but others may enjoy it. In any case, here's something different. Biggest drawback I could say on this recording is the crowd noise is very low, so it sounds pretty dry between songs. They also put a gate on the mics, so you'll hear it working as the crowd noise is at the gate threshold, making the crowd noise sound a little unnatural. That aside, it's a pretty good mix in my opinion.
I'm going to hear it. Hoserama is also a genius. Thank you EDGE, I am delighted to be seeing many shows of 2022 on T.U.B.E.
