remaster notes
I got these from a blog as 16/44 FLAC files, even though from the original lineage above it was 24/96 when first transferred. No idea how it got to 16/44, but it sounds INCREDIBLE nonetheless. Anyway I restored the beginning of "Beat Crazy" from another, very slightly less crisp-sounding master cassette, EQ-matched the segments to make the transition as seamless as possible, and applied sonic pixie dust throughout (mostly via the Sound Forge 9 Graphic Dynamics tool) to enhance the low end, which seemed a tad lackadaisical punchwise on this excellent, well-captured master off-air FM cassette. I also made sure none of this show was released on the "Live 1980/86" album (it wasn't), removed the remaining radio intro and outro (no Budweiser for me, thanks), properly titled and tagged the files, created new fingerprint and md5 files, and modified this info file to annotate these modifications. Enjoy! :)-EN
