This is NOT a rip from the video or DVD. I know who the taper is, but I wish to keep his name private. Tickets for the event were priced at $150, with an estimated 400,000 attendees. Saturday on the East Stage, the line up looked like this, with Metallica closing out the evening. Can you imagine going from Alanis Morrisette to Limp Dick, er uh, Biscuit, oh damn it, I mean Bizkit.. ?!?! There was no peace and love at this festival. In fact it was quite the opposite. In addition to all the mayhem and violence, the heat was oppressive reaching above 100 °F. Concert goers were prohibited from bringing food and water into the venue, and were met with high prices inside the venue. Burritos sold for $10, hotdogs and sandwiches sold for $5, a single slice of 10" pizza sold for $12, and 20 oz bottles of water and soda for $4 each. The volume was a bit unbalanced , so I did some tweaking to level out the channels.
