Prior to recieving this tape, I was unaware of any full version of this show being circulated. On the couple of lists that I had seen this show, the recording began at Hotel Hobbies. It was nice to see this tape containing the initial part of the concert as well. According to the setlist archives at http://www.morain.de/Marillion/01Main.php, this recording is the complete show.

On the tapes I recieved, Fugazi follows Heart of Lothian. This is also the case in the versions of the incomplete show that I've seen in circulation. However, the setlist archive indicates that Fugazi was played following Sugar Mice. In reviewing setlists from other North Amercian shows during this tour, Fugazi was almost always played after Sugar Mice, and even the nights it wasn't, it was always played early in the setlist, and never as late in the show as it appears on this tape. Not to say that they couldn't have done a one off change for this show. Considering that Torch Song was played as a surprise a couple nights on this tour, it wouldn't be impossible to suppose that they moved Fugazi to near the end of a show on one occassion.

Upon close listening to the recording, I could hear a splice both before and after Fugazi. There was also a splice after Sugar Mice. You can tell from the abrupt change in the audience noise at these splice points. I used the splice points to cut Fugazi out of the spot in the recording where it was, and then inserted it at the splice point that followed Sugar Mice. The song fit perfectly, with no changes in audience noise. Also, after cutting Fugazi out, the splices that had surrounded Fugazi after Heart of Lothian fit back together perfectly. It seems clear that someone intentionally moved Fugazi in this recording, although i'm not sure why someone would have done so. Whether this was done so by the taper, or someone else is unknown to me. In any event, I am confident that this recording now runs in the proper order.
