This was the first gig the band played since Robert had sacked Andy Anderson in Tokyo, 4 days before. Vince Ely subbed on drums for the entire North American leg of this tour.
Original source was posted with the waveforms hammered to the limit. I reduced the recording's volume by 10 percent, then gave it a light EQ job to restore the lost depth. Level fluctuations during show were fixed. A duplicate "thank you" after Wailing Wall was removed. I tracked out a couple of crowd tracks as these interludes were fairly long.
The sound on this is excellent, almost no hiss at all. The beginning of Play For Today is cut on all circulating copies. Robert comes in too early on The Walk. Mix changes a bit about 2:25 or so into Charlotte Sometimes. This also is noticeable at the first part of Killing An Arab. This was from the master, not as a result of any processing.
many thanks to all who shared & to terrapinstation for all his work, much appreciated.
