Notes:
This was originally seeded way back in February 2005 by "Akitafan," and I don't believe it has been back since. I don't know the origins of this recording and can't compare it to the pre-remaster version, but the Mr. T remaster sounds pretty good. It isn't mentioned in the info file, but this was billed as an ALD/audience matrix -- and based on a casual listen, I believe that's true. The vocals are prominent (which is good) but the high end is too strong in the recording (which is bad); I suspect that it's primarily an audience recording with the ALD used to add immediacy to the vocals and guitar. I discovered in 2009 that the venue's ALD system is really not very good -- very tinny and virtually no low end in the mix -- but when used to augment a good audience recording, the ALD feed improves the sound.

In terms of sound quality, check out the samples -- it's not the best 2002 show, but if you're a serious fan, this is worth having. The beginning is a little too boomy; I'm not sure if the taper changed locations or the sound simply improved as the show went on. The latter 2/3 of the show sounds very good.

As far as the performance is concerned, this was relatively early in the Rising tour (it began in early August) and Bruce was still very conservative with his setlists. This is largely a stock Rising show, with a few oddities in the mix ("Lost in the Flood" appears mid-set, and "Working on the Highway" appears as a rare final encore). If you enjoy recordings from this tour, this is definitely worth having, although as usual with Bruce, the setlists got much more interesting as the tour wound down in mid-2003.
