The only thing I did on the audio file (after video editing) was to Normalize it to 90% (was around 80% already), and of course downsample it to 44.1 Khz (captured at DVD specification of 48 KHz). The announcer speaks at the beggining of the 1st song, but after that you won't hear his voice again.

I grabbed this off DIME, and so did a few hundred other folks. Why wouldn't you? Sounds too good to be true. And it slightly is. The source was rough, and the remaster amplifies that, but it definitely enhances the source considerably. And a cool hang with the boys in the band at a very hip time.

I did what I could considering the overbearing mid-range and an overdriven tape saturation in some spots. But it still sounds very listenable, I've played it a couple of times now myself. Tweaked, added space to the mono source, and maximized. 

NOTE: 3 songs were pulled from this as they were used in an official box set (13, 18 and 21). In mine the files were there, but empty. That just seemed odd to me, so here I've completely left them out.

Documentary which tells the story of the first major charity rock concert, the 1971 Concert for Bangladesh organised by former Beatle George Harrison at Madison Square Garden in New York. In response to the political crisis in Bangladesh and attempting to raise money, medicine and supplies for the refugees, Harrison responded to Ravi Shankar's plea and came out of semi-retirement to organise and play this show. He also drew contribitions from a number of his famous friends who had also finished the 60s shellshocked and exhausted, notably Bob Dylan and Eric Clapton. Harrison, Dylan and Clapton hadn't played in public for several years.
