The decision was made to include the complete set (01. - 09.) by Rufus Wainwright (who was the opening act), as well as the complete Intermission as i felt it added to the overall atmosphere of the show (for me anyway).
The same recording level was used throughout the entire concert, which will explain why Rufus Wainwright and his set is lower in volume than Paul Simon and his show.

Soundboard recording from reel - probably 2nd or 3rd gen. reel. More dynamic range and less hissy sounding than the previous seed. Also includes an extra minute and a half of a partial "Leaves They Are Green" that's missing from the previous copy and from most lists of this show on the web.

This copy was gone through carefully to seamlessly remove many clicks and other minor flaws, and has not been circulated from this source before.

There is still quite a bit of tape hiss, but not as loud or in the way of the music as on the other copy. I rate the sound quality as VG+ but please check the samples to decide for yourself.

Notes: This show has been traded as various dates and places but most call it Tufts University '66 or march 11, 1967. My reel was labeled "Tufts University Fall 1966" but evidence found on the web shows the date as March 11, 1967. There is an article and ad from the MIT University newspaper that mentions that they are playing that week but does not say that they also played at Tufts in 1966, so I am assuming that March 11, 1967 is the likely date of this recording. I have included those 2 pdf files, plus a poster that I found on the web as part of some artwork.

My reel was recorded right around the time that this tape first circulated widely in the late '70's. I think it was originally given out by someone who worked at the show. It was not supposed to be traded, but was soon leaked by someone and then bootlegged extensively after that.

Notes:

No released material here. In fact, there is apparently no released Simon & Garfunkel on video from the sixties at all and no live in studio Simon and Garfunkel as audio releases either.

There was quite a bit of dust on the film when transferred and it shows some during playback. However, it is still very good to excellent black and white video. It's got monophonic TV audio - not spectacular sounding but quite listenable. I have never seen this material circulated before now.

Other notes:
Kraft Music Hall was a longtime running series that went through many changes over the years with different hosts and formats starting on radio in 1933. Bing Crosby was the regular host from 1936 to 1946. Kraft moved to television in 1947 but switched to weekly dramatic productions as "Kraft Television Theatre". The "music-hall" format first appeared on TV in the 1958-59 season with regular hosts that included Milton Berle and
Perry Como. The show went from regular hosts to a variety of different hosts from week to week beginning in the fall of 1967 and it remained in production until 1971.

Paul Simon played 4 nights at the London Palladium. He also played concerts in Birmingham and Manchester. I'm not sure which Palladium show this BBC broadcast comes from, so I'm labeling it as the first night Dec 11. I couldn't find very much information about this run of shows, so i hope my info is correct.  I know there is a liberated DVD of this performance ( i have not seen it) I'm not sure which tenor sax player was involved, it's either David Sanborn or Michael Brecker (i've listed both) I also had to pitch correct this, it played slow. I think the pitch is near perfect now. This took some research and editing work, i hope it's okay with everybody.

Notes: 
This is an excellent soundboard from the Paul Simon's "You're The One" tour. Excellent setlist, professionally mixed recording. Not quite as vibrant as the Hollywood Bowl show I posted a few days ago, but it's still quite good; probably a 9 on a 10 scale. 

It's somewhat disappointing that "Bridge Over Troubled Water" isn't in this setlist -- but I think he rotated it with "The Late Great Johnny Ace," which is a relative rarity. No artwork, sorry. Hopefully someone on this thread can either create some or post a scan.
