** REMASTER NOTES **
After the first remaster using almost all the BBC source, this time I wanted to use all the songs from WestWood One and then the six missing songs from the BBC source, as the WW1's sound quality is superior to the BBC1.

The BBC1 source (Lin 1) was EQed, pitch speeded up 0.58,5 cents to match the Lammah's source (which had the correct pitch/tempo), also lowered a little bit down the Mike feedback noise on its mic at 1.13 of "Knife Edge".

The WW1 source had to be reworked a little: fixed some small gaps/distortions in "Strength" (3.11), "Absolute Reality" (1.03), "Shelter" (0.00), "Rain In The Summertime" (3.30, 3.41, 4.33), "Rescue Me" (3.33, 4.15) then fixed "68 Guns" (3.15) and put it before "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" and smoothed some transitions inbetween tracks, removed also the announcer outro (useless). Then I reduced an annoying and evident volume raising at 35secs of "Strength" and lowered down 26% its volume, then 14% down for the other WW1 tracks to match BBC1 source.

Not my own recording, but a low generation copy bought at a record shop in The Hague not long after the show. Tape flip between track 11 and 12, and some minor cuts throughout but all songs are complete (no music lost). Cover scan included (as if that's any use to anyone - no idea if the pic was actually taken at Loreley).

Not the best mix ever (bass pretty upfront, guitars way in the back), but a great show. This was the first Alarm tape I had and I've always enjoyed playing this. Good to hear it again...

Acts on the bill that day (in order of appearance): Greg Kihn Band, Paul Brady, Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, The Alarm, Little Steven & the Disciples of Soul.

Notes by the uploader/trader:
Each bands set is about 20 min. Some a little shorter, some longer. Never find the time to write down the setlists. Maybe one of you could be so nice.

Here` one of my old VHS master tapes. The quality is as good as a master from 1985 could be. The tape was still in good shape after all these years.

NOTES:
A very enthusiastic Mike at this gig!... Wasn't sure if this was a Soundboard or an FM broadcast at first. I've gone with Soundboard as the mix sounds a bit flat and the audience sounds a little distant, which is probably due to the mics on stage picking them up and not the audience mics being mixed low for radio... Or maybe it was a soundboard that has been broadcasted on radio? (like the Hamburg Docks 90 show). Anybody has any answers let us all know?
