Steecoe didn’t start recording (audio and video) until the end of “Light Up The Sky,” so the first song is only mrmojohalen’s angle, and the audio is from mrmojohalen’s camera.

The crowd around Steecoe sang the entire show – pretty much every word. It wasn’t too close to the mics though, so it wasn’t overbearing at all, and mixed in quite nicely with the overall sound.

Comments:
Nice CD displaying the complete version of this show. Yes, Won't Get Fooled Again is complete with a good final!! The sound quality is certainly better compared with the Final Stage With Keith (CD) (TR014 Tristar). The medley of My Generation is wonderful. The spine of the cardboard sleeve states PORYDOL POCP- 2000. (*reverse the R and the L and you have "Polydor") The number on the CD itself is 12151977 (both on the disc and printed on the front of the disc).

Peter Wolf's Master Reel 3 3/4ips 1/4 track --> Maxell UD35-90 7 1/2ips 1/4 track (Revox B77) --> Tascam CD-RW2000 --> EAC --> CDWAV --> FLAC

Here's a real gem from the lost archives. If you are reading this you know what a powerhouse this band is live...no different here. This seems to be before the original songs when the band cut their teeth on blues covers much like Fleetwood Mac.

This is an excellent recording of an awesome performance. Anyone who loves rock bands playin the blues should have this. Let me now thank hezekiahx2 at Dime for these files...you are a saint.

03 - Wrathchild (3:54)
04 - Blood Brothers (7:24)

08 - Iron Maiden (5:08)
09 - The Number Of The Beast (4:47)
10 - Hallowed Be Thy Name (7:34)
11 - Sanctuary (6:15)

Time: 64:14

Notes:
This is my remaster of version 2 of this great show.
This is the most complete FM broadcast (no DJ talking).

Version 2 (time: 71:57 - includes two bonus tracks by Urchin) has The Trooper (fades in) and Dream Of Mirrors (fades out) at the end.
I placed these tracks at the correct spot (after Blood Brothers). The transitions had to be adjusted of course.
By remastering it I gave the overall sound some more punch.
The bass and vocals are now better represented in the mix. I also raised the volume a bit.

There is a bootleg titled 'Our Time Has Come' which also has the correct track order. But there the volume is lower than in version 2, the sound isn't as good and there are some errors.

The Fillmore Auditorium

01 - Paranoid
02 - N.I.B.
03 - War Pigs
04 - Black Sabbath
05 - Iron Man
06 - Behind the Wall of Sleep
07 - Hand of Doom_Rat Salad
08 - Fairies Wear Boots
09 - Wicked World

Running time: 65:02 min

Notes:
An early US show by Sabbath. They play a lot off 'Paranoid' which was, at that point, unreleased. Interestingly, considering how often various Sabbath members have stated that they started out inspired to make 'scary music' becuase people went to see scary movies, Ozzy introduces 'Black Sabbath' as 'the main feature track' of their first album. Sound quality is good - nothing amazing, but considering it's a 38-year-old audience recording you can't complain. Really, you can't. ;)

The video recorder continue shooting at the stage side monitor during the full show. So the video quality is good. But sometimes the label's logo appears on your screen instead of the stage monitor turns out (for example, between the numbers).

Notes:
Although there are several great soundboards from this tour including London 10-28-78, Qubec 4-18-79, and Chicago 6-9-79, this performance and the excellent quality of this audience recording stand out to me. In particular, I must have 60 different versions of Siberian Khatru, but Howe's solo at the end on this evening really shines. There's just a pure sound to the band during this period of touring that comes through in this recording. I can't explain beyond these points that I really like this particular show. The credit for this recording goes to someone in YES trading circles (my apologies at not remembering) who put together this fine tree, including the 10-6-78 show, several years ago. This is not a soundboard, but it rates as a strong audience
recording, A- sound.
