•The band opened up with a cover of Black Flag's "Six Pack," according to attendees.
•Kurt stopped the show when an over-zealous bouncer started to attack a fan.
•The band switched instruments for a "Sonic Youth-type" encore, during which Krist chanted a "hippy-dippy mantra about love," according to a review.

DVD "VOB" format
MPEG-2 Program Stream << { 1 vid, 1 aud }
Sys Bitrate: 10080 kb/s VBR

Video processing:
YAMB (demux AVC) -> DGAVCIndex -> AviSynth -> CCE 2.70

Audio processing:
YAMB (demux AAC) -> Core AAC Audio Decoder -> SoundForge10 (resampling 44.1 -> 48 in 64-bit environment, volume matching in the 2 channels)

Synched with frame accuracy in Womble, muxed in TDA1.6, menus created separately in TAW4, added in DVDRemake.
*Audio left as LPCM to avoid additional compression (the same reason is for the higher video bitrate), please don't use it for audio torrents of 'lossless' category. Channels are slightly different, but it is hard to tell if it is a real stereo. However it is really good-sounding.

Notes:
This DVD was made a couple of months ago, just as soon as Bill Graham archive site (many thanks to them) started streaming their videos in a decent form. Hopefully, this one is a bit better than the other posted version (known to have been made with a single-button tool), due to methods used and more control at processing. The source files are probably the same (downloadable as mp4 AVC 640x480 with AAC audio). Black and White broadcast a little dark but very watchable . . .

Administration & Liners:
Tree administration for this tree was by the legendary Linda Beatty! Two sets of jewel case liners were created for this collection.

Notes:
A year to remember, 1999 was full of stellar performances. Over the past few months, the cream of the crop has been carefully selected and preserved by a generous fellow fan. Every track is a highlight! Selections include fantastic versions of such classics as All In The Game, And The Healing Has Begun, and Ain't Nothin' You Can Do... Cheltenham's smokin' Muleskinner Blues, and the show-stopping Help Me from Jones Beach. In all, over two hours of incredible listening.

Notes from Wooda:
QUALITY: What can I say about this show except that it smokes all other versions you will find. Unlike "The Eyes Of Night", this show is complete and not spliced together from other club days shows, and the sound is amazing. The other little problem is that the date and location have been reported wrong for years. The show was played on Saturday May 29th, 1976 and not Sunday May 30th, 1976 which has is the incorrectly circulated date.

NOTES: They play an extremely energetic set, and even hint about hearing the day we would all hear their songs on the radio. This is a must have show.

Comments:
Sometime in the early days of Dime, I converted my DAT recording (acquired in trade, so I don't know the lineage) of Jimmy Page & Robert Plant's Boston show from the "Walking Into Clarksdale" tour. Very little is known in terms of the origins of this recording -- rumors were that this is an in-house Assistive Listening Device (ALD) broadcast that was used at Great Woods around this time, and this is borne out by the fact that there are several other "soundboards" of similar fidelity floating around from this period by other bands. Apparently it made the rounds online and one industrious downloader ("caddy72") discovered that the sound quality could be dramatically improved by reversing the polarity of one of the channels. I personally don't have a clue what this means in technical terms, but apparently it's a common phenomenon with many ALD recordings that the polarity is somehow reversed in the process of broadcast.

Comments by tapers:
This is a special recording for all Bon Jovi's fans and all the music lovers. Both nights were taped from Jon's IEM with a stereo scanner. The recordings are excellent and close to a soundboard and there are no interferences of anything. On the 1st night we had some problems with the equipment so we ended up not recording the whole concert but we did record the best moments and we added them in here as a Bonus with the 2nd night of which was awesome too. These were 2 great nights in Vancouver. The band was in a great mood and really did excellent performances. Some rare songs were played along with the hits and everyone had a lot of fun. 2 sold out nights that were really worth seeing.
