Comments: This time in Denmark and I had a great time there. But I'm even today a little bitter because I hade a very good ticket in front of the stage but because of brain damage (alcohol) and lack of information I stood a way back in the arena (mixer table). The recording is 3 pieces. First 20 minutes was recording to low (adjusted in the release)… second part (16 min) is from HP's recording in Landgraaf (fixed to fit the volume) two days before because of flickering fingers that put the internal mikes on. From “Wish you were here” it went well and the second disk I’m pleased with.

A few years ago at IMBB a nice guy called Peter (nickname Gondola Point) asked for some DVDs from the Somewhere Back In Time Tour offering some masters he taped in the late 80's, early 90's. Here's one of them, up to now unsurfaced. He didnt tell me what gear he used for taping or transfering from masters to CD though. Hope you enjoy as I did.

This was kindly sent to me by stingon after I had asked about 2005 Sting shows with Josh Freese on drums. I think it's a great listen, so I decided to share it here (with stingon's permission). I can't be sure if this was seeded on dime or on some other tracker the first time around, but I labelled this as a reseed anyway.

Great "The Bed's Too Big Without You". I also liked how this show from early in the tour still includes a full version of "The Soul Cages" and also "She's Too Good For Me".

Notes by ldb:
the excellent version from Hugin33 had "Someone, Somewhere (In Summertime)" missing. I retrieved it from last night's broadcast on italian radio

Track 11 from RAI broadcast on December 28, 2015 with the following lineage:

RAI Radio Uno > Onkyo TX-8511 FM tuner > HD > Sound Forge 7.0 > CD Wave Editor > FLAC Frontend (level 6)

you won't hear the difference between the two sources unless you know it. I could insert smoothly the missing song in the correct setlist order. Now you have the complete show from start to finish. I could not use the italian broadcast for the full show because the DJs spoke a lot during the songs, but at least I could extract one track and eliminate the talks.

Something i`d like to mention before I write about the show. You guys can do whatever you want with the show, except sell it!! But if you give it a proper authoring please give Hellrazor credit for filming!!!
I`ve come across some really nice authorings of my shows but no credit was givin, not the end of the world, but I do put a lot of effort to get these out for ppl to enjoy...for free!!! I have no problem sharing, just I believe everyone involved should get credit..like cover artist, filmers/tapers & ppl that author dvds & Blu Rays

As always a stellar show from the ladies. Lighting was a bit dark at times, but if you`re a fan of Courtney then you`re in luck because she was pretty much lit up for the whole show, as you`ll see when somebody jumped up on stage and try to put his arm around her for a picture right before her solo during Wasted Years...you`ll also see her break a string but keep shredding! Show was on the boarder of a residential neighborhood so unfortunatly it was cut short due to curfew....check sample before downloading

Another awesome show from the ladies! Very energetic and highly entertaining with Nita Strauss being back onstage with the girls.

First few songs there`s a few heads and hands but during The Prisoner I found a great spot to capture the rest of the show, Had to make a battery change right after Die With Your Boots On so the first few seconds of the The Duellist are cut. Once Nita came on the place went nuts and the energy was turned up a few notches!!....anyway other than some lighting that my cam seems to have issues with this is an A+ SHOW! check samples before downloading!!!!

Another kick ass show from the lovely Maidens. Audio is stellar but unfortunatly the lighting was terrible at the Viper Room, very dark for most of the show! I had a good spot right in front of Nita too. Anyway check the sample to see if you`d like to dowmload the show.....it`s free anyway!!!

As good as a show as you can expect from men their age. Ozzy has his off moments but overall puts in a good performance. A beaming Iommi rips solo after solo, Geezer and Tommy keep the fat bubbling away all night to a packed United Center, home of the awesome Chicago Blackhawks. Not a bad setlist. You get all the usual tracks, with a pair of deep cuts, including Under The Sun. Great lively recording. Too bad that there was a brief gremlin attack.

Mission from God Vol. 54 - Falo Matrix

OK, this is the full Paris76 package. Most parts have been available on the famous TMOQ DVD Set, but now we have improved sound and finally some kind of stereo sound. First half of DVD2 also contains an audio matrix. Songs 8-10 are available in such great SBD quality, that it doesnt make sense to matrix it with an AUD recording.

On DVD2 I tried out some kind of experimental "Love you live Paris". It features the Paris Songs from "Love you live",
that are available as video. I used the official release as audio track for those videos. You will see that Jagger isn´t in sync most of the time, but the Band is ! These clips show how much work was done by the Stones in studio to improve (?) Jagger's singing. Especially Tumbling Dice & Brown sugar are, in a way, amazing to watch !

**The last three and a half minutes of the show are from 1988-10-11 MSG, NYC because I only went into the show with one 120 minute 8mm tape and the show ran slightly longer than the other shows I went to. So we just filled it out with the ending from MSG.

This is “CBG Classic Master Video Series Vol. 32”.

By now I was trying to film in other arenas in the area. I started with New Haven Coliseum and the Springfield Civic Center. Then I thought the only other arena would be the Montreal Forum on Pierre’s recommendation that only old men take your tickets there with no search. So I drove all the way there, like 6 hours, for a few shows I really wanted. Nassau Coliseum on Long Island was the next conquest, and then Madison Square Garden. I had been to this arena befpre to record audio but when Van Halen went on sale for all the arenas around me, I had to go try to get them I felt.

So Providence was one show of the ‘return to the area’ fall shows in Rocktober in the northeast. The Monsters of Rock tour was through here in June, and on par with most tours, they returned in the fall for some more dates. These were in arenas and they changed the setlist some from the summer. These shows made me stand out a little less as it was getting cool out in the evenings and wearing a jacket looked normal. Still, with these arenas that I never really filmed in, and thought I wouldn’t get in due to the search, I was still quite nervous entering. I would look consciously at all of the security personnel at the entrances trying to find the one that I might be able to scoot through on. This was a tough entry. A lot of real intense head to toe pat downs by the security. After scoping everyone for a while, I found what I thought might be a way in by a security guard that was getting a little lazy. I got lucky and I was through the door.

Once in this place, I felt pretty comfortable. Security mostly stayed on the first level and floor. I went to the side in the 2nd level, which wasn’t as high as most arenas, and did my thing. Another arena conquered. One of the arenas that I initially thought I couldn't get into. I was no beginning to feel like I can go to all these arenas around me and also to ones far away. I was starting to think, why not try. I could end up with a show like this. It also made me think, why didn't I really try this sooner in these arenas?! There were many great tours in 1986 and 87 that I only focused on audio for. I just assumed I couldn't film in these arenas. And with that thinking I just didn't try. It was flawed thinking. If you convince yourself you can't, you won't. If you say to yourself that you can, then you will eventually. Even if you get put down or fail for some reason the first or second time, eventually you will if you keep trying and don't quit. That is kind of a philosophy for life, but it definitely applied to me for filming concerts. This hobby isn't for the weak. Every one of us have setbacks and every show is a different experience. Every time you get knocked down, you get back up and try again, you eventually will be successful. And the satisfaction of getting the good show will be big boost of energy to continue on with the next night or the next show. Enjoy another great show from the Mighty Van Halen and the Red Rocker in my first time filming in Providence!
