Here's a nice FM show from the early 1981 tour, originally seeded by LuciferBurns. It's been off the tracker for a while so I thought it could be nice to reseed it in the case someone wants it. I noticed the tape ran a bit too fast so I slowed the recording down a bit, although with no reference material available it's just a fair guess and might still be a bit off, but I think it's much closer to the real speed than the original. I also bumped up the mid sounds slightly to improve clarity, eliminated most of the tape hiss and balanced the audio channels. The ending of LAM (which seems to come from a different show altogether) was quite crudely mixed so I added some cross-fade to make the transfer smoother. Also, the song cut locations were changed as in the original they were sometimes in the middle of Rob's speech. You can call it remastering if you want, but I personally avoid using that term because I'm not using the original master tape here.

Here's another FM show that's been off the tracker for some time now, so I thought it could be nice to reseed it. Unlike the other two European FM shows I'm reseeding, this didn't require a lot of work. Just a slight EQ bump to improve clarity without causing hiss. Rob's mic goes off at the start of Hot Rockin' and the whole song is performed pretty much as an instrumental (you can very faintly hear his voice at some points). This issue lasts until about halfway through Victim of Changes. The DJ seems to be a bit of chatty type so most of the stage banter is obscured by him.

This is a great pro-shot video from the 1991 Painkiller tour. The video quality is pretty good, although it has some minor errors every now and then, and of course being VHS sourced it's a bit blurry at times. There's also a slightly noticeable change in source (and a drop in quality) during Beyond the Realms of Death. A strong rumor suggests that the first part comes from the TV station master which was copied by an employee (this part was never broadcast), which would explain the legal warnings in the beginning. And the latter part is recorded off the broadcast (as it started during Glenn's solo). But despite the legal warnings, I can assure you that this concert has never been commercially released (even the copyright markings in the cover art are just an insider joke by Pete Z), so I think it's OK to seed it here.

The audio quality is really pristine throughout, and the lossless PCM coding is really justified here. I'm not certain if this is the full concert, but this is probably all there is available from this concert. Enjoy, and keep the metal faith!
