Notes
What we have here is a rarity of EPIC proportions! To celebrate the 30th anniversary of this show, here is the classic lineup of Guns N' Roses performing at the Ritz in NYC on 10.23.1987 - nearly 3 months before the well-known MTV-broadcast Ritz gig. This video was unearthed in 2016 by a superfan and sample clips were shared on YouTube. Up until that point, the CBGB 10.30.87 show was the only concert video from any 1987 show that has ever been made public.

Luckily, I had the good fortune of transferring the original promo VHS to ensure the best possible transfer quality would be achieved. What you are downloading is a fully-authored DVD that includes maxed-out video and audio-bitrates, and full motion menus. Unfortunately, the first four songs plus part of 'Welcome to the Jungle' were not present on the VHS tape. However, that does not detract from the experience of viewing this amazing concert video!

Teasin' The Ritz
Never before seen footage! Sure, we're very familiar with the phrase "Guns N' Roses Live at The Ritz" - but this isn't the footage you're thinking of - this is unreleased, never before seen, straight from a Geffen VHS, just three months after the release of their monumental debut album Appetite For Destruction, days before the infamous CBGB's Acoustic show (Which, until now, was thought to be the only known 1987 show to exist in video, sans rumors of a fan filmed August 1987 show in Toronto). The full footage will see the light of day some day, but to quote one himself "You'll see it, I'm just not sure if soon is the word" - though, I will entertain offers for trade for something of equal value within the GNR bootleg community.

The tapes contains a clip of Jungle, and fulls songs from My Michelle through Mama Kin. Footage is one hour in running time and was transferred directly from Geffen VHS via Ion Audio's Video 2 PC capture device. All cheesy, 80's High School AV club editing was all the rage in those daze and was done by Geffen, hahah.

Notes:
This is a nice sounding recording of Green Day performing at the Aragon in Chicago. The sound is good due to the show being broadcasted by MTV at the time. It's got a nice setlist. As for the bonus tracks, I'm not sure where they are from..the artwork doesn't say. They are from '94 though. Artwork is included.

Here's a recording of mine which I recorded over 10 years ago direct from a Radio 1 broadcast through my Hi-Fi onto my computer. I recorded that broadcast simultaneously via a 10 metre length cable conected to both the Hi-fi tuner at one end and plugged into the back of my sound card/computer at the other. It was recorded as a continuous Wav file using the program "Syntrillium". I then used the same program to normalise the entire wav file (without clipping), and to then divided it into the various tracks. I then burnt those wav files onto a master cdr. The quality is awesome with the best version of Rock n Roll star ever... A+ all the way. As a Man City fan I love the line, "I live my life for Man City".

Notes:
This is the whole show except for 50 seconds between I Am The Walrus and Rock 'n' Roll Star which had to be cut to fit the gig onto one CD-R. This gig is apparently the one responsible for splitting the band up during this tour because it was so bad.

Notes:
This recording comes from a pre-fm cd that a radio station in the Usa used to broadcast these tracks from the Chicago show with some interview to Noel. I've cut out the interviews between songs, I've done some cross fades in the right places, removed 2 or 3 flaws that were in the original recording. Then i adjusted the eq (the sound was too mid-ranged), brought transients back to life, improved the stereo separation and maximized the overall sound the L3.

b - Oh, did I mention that you do not want to miss downloading this? Actually I prefer a well balanced & recorded audience source. I feel it just gives a better atmosphere to the recording. Some SBD recordings are too raw & not mixed that well. This SBD recording is clean & mixed well. I also prefer Rory's era with the De'Ath & Martin line-up, along with the energy of the band from then, so I'm a bit biased at time .... but to me, Rory is Rory!!

Notes by the trader:
The main feature on this DVD is all of Peter's appearances from Nelson Mandela's 46664 Arctic concert which took place in Tromsoe, Norway on the 11th of June 2005. Digitally recorded by Wender Figved directly from broadcast, this one took some piecing together! Various parts were broadcast at different times and recorded to different DVD recorders so there was lots for Willem to do here putting it all back
together and redubbing the sound from the best possible sources.

The results are well worth the wait! A couple of Peter's best solo piano renditions of classic songs, framed by the beautiful Arctic  kyline, plus two guest appearances on other artists' sets, including a storming version of 'The Feeling Begins' from the 'Passion' album with Brian May from Queen on guitar. There's also a speech from Nelson Mandela and an interview with the great man himself (Peter that
is...!)

To round off the disc we have some more of what Peter's been up to since his last proper tour - first up are three songs from Youssou N'Dour's "Youssou and Friends" concert in Geneva on October 8th, 2005, which represent Peter's entire contribution to the show.

And last but not least, Peter's 'interesting' version of Imagine from this year's Winter Olympics opening ceremony in Torino on the 10th of February. I think a lot of you might have seen this already but all versions so far have had some TV presenter commentary over the opening of the song - lucky for us Willem was on hand to record the Dutch broadcast which left the audio intact!

Rory Gallagher .... Doc´s Diary Vol.2: 1st. Gen. FM & More!
2nd British Rockmeeting; Germersheim, Insel Grün,

Hey everybody, here´s something for Rock- and Bluesfans!
This is Rory Gallagher´s performance from the 2nd British Rockmeeting in Germersheim, Insel Grün, Germany(near Heidelberg), plus some very nice short cuts (everything I have included), recorded early 70´s in Germany! This is my first Rory Gallagher compilation!

Amoung the more than 40 acts on this 2nd British Rockmeeting in southern Germany, were Pink Floyd, Wishbone Ash, Uriah Heep, Humble Pie, Kinks, Family and many more (see Festival Poster in the Attachment file)!
The Bands played from Friday May 20th to Monday May 22nd 1972!
Rory played Monday afternoon, his set was, beside Lindisfarne, the only set broadcasted!(incomplete, ca. 40 mins)

People from other countries hardly could imagine, how popular Rory was here in the earlyer 70´s.......... I saw him there for the first time, and he really did a great and intense performance! He was so good, we couldn t hardly wait for his next show, scheduled for autum 1972!
He was the only artist to give 3 encores in Germersheim....

I added 5 tracks he played live acc., in a german FM Radio studio, plus 3 tracks from a really superp "AUD" tape recorded in Ludwigsburg 3/72! (recorded by taper "U",one of the best tapers I found here, for

Enjoy this great piece of histoy! Enjoy!!

I'm proud to say that I attented this festival as a fifteen year old boy! It´s unbelievabale, but the organizers had to change the area for the festival several times in the last moments and one possible area was just 3 km from the small town I grew up! Since my mother saw no way to keep me away from something like that in the neighbourhood, she was prepaired enough to let me go another 20 km, finally!
